Kindergarten Individual Development Survey (KIDS)
Erik Youngman The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) approved updated goals that focus on the readiness of Illinois kindergartners. Similar to all other Illinois school districts, Libertyville School District 70 will gather information via the Kindergarten Individual Development Survey (KIDS) and report information about 14 state readiness measures to ISBE each October for every kindergartner.

The purpose of KIDS is to 1) help teachers understand what children can do, 2) identify children's needs and 3) make learning goals clear between preschool and elementary school.
